Good Morning!

2021
“Good morning, we just woke up. Nowadays it can be hard to do so.

We just woke up as a promise to act, evolve and care.

World goes fast, society is noisy, life goes by at one hundred percent, but—in the morning— we choose to take the time to appreciate the first light of the sun and say goodbye to the stars. The morning is a time to reflect, fresh from your night full of dreams and nightmares, it's the moment. It's the moment to stretch your body and vision, your mind and understanding, in order to fulfill your day with significant or mindless actions.

We act and we create, we go forward.

Life mutates and so do we.

Rituals are melting into each other, it’s life alchemy.

It’s creating gold from the waste.

It’s looking around us to learn.

It’s fading in and shining.

It’s Utopia.

It’s thinking about every step.

Planning but still letting ourselves be surprised.

It’s holistic and targeted.

It’s about you and us together.

It’s about how complex it is to keep things simple.

We just woke up to step into a journey as one and as a group.

We want to take you with us, take us with you. It’s life alchemy.

It’s the morning and we just woke up as a promise to act, evolve, care and create the day to come.”

Bearing the vision of The Morning Studio in mind, we decided to curate the final exhibition based on a narrative that would lead the entire group through the phases of a day, which we divided up into four chapters: Awake, Make, Meditate, and Recreate. Each chapter included presentations and discussions, with a focus on local production and working in a community, connecting these themes to the beliefs and methods of each student.
